Mr. Ian Yoo is a drummer and music educator based in the DFW area. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies (Drumset) from the University of North Texas, where he studied under renowned jazz drummers Quincy Davis and Jose Aponte. Prior to completing his degree, he served as a drummer in the Republic of Korea Air Force Band from 2021 to 2023, gaining extensive professional performance experience through military service.

Ian has several years of private teaching experience, working with students of all ages and skill levels. He is currently an active performer throughout the DFW jazz scene. As an educator, he is passionate about helping students build strong fundamentals, musical confidence, and creativity. By combining his performance and teaching experience, Ian aims to inspire students to enjoy music and develop their own voice on the instrument.

Mr. Ian currently serves as a Drum Instructor at Prime Music Institute.
