Jeff Escudé is an accomplished guitarist and dedicated educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Throughout his career, he has taught students in a wide variety of settings, including private and group lessons, community college courses, after-school guitar programs, retail music programs, and ensemble instruction.

A versatile musician, Mr. Jeff enjoys performing and teaching a broad range of musical styles, including Pop, Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Country, and Classical guitar. His extensive musical background allows him to tailor lessons to each student’s individual interests, goals, and learning style.

Mr. Jeff has studied with several distinguished guitarists and educators, including world-renowned classical guitarist Carlo Pezzimenti, as well as Joe Lee and Fred Hamilton at the University of North Texas and Clint Strong of Arlington, Texas. He earned his B.A.A.S. in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas in 2006 and his M.A. in Classical Guitar Pedagogy from Texas Woman’s University in 2012.

At the heart of Mr. Jeff’s teaching philosophy is a simple idea: students learn best when they are genuinely excited about the music they play. He takes time to discover what each student truly enjoys listening to and performing, then uses practical and effective teaching approaches to help them make progress quickly while developing strong musical skills and confidence.

In addition to teaching, Mr. Jeff remains active as a performing and recording musician. He is currently working on several electric guitar singles featuring major-label recording artists and drummers Jordan Perlson and Kellii Scott, with plans to record classical guitar projects in the future.

When he is not teaching, Mr. Jeff can often be found practicing classical guitar, recording electric or classical music, or relaxing on the patio with his favorite neighborhood cat.

Mr. Jeff currently serves as a guitar faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
