Mr. Tyler Wang
French Horn

Mr. Yingtong (Tyler) Wang is an experienced music educator and accomplished French horn performer with over 10 years of experience in higher education, K–12 instruction, and professional performance. He is a Brass Adjunct Instructor at Tarrant County College and a French Horn Instructor for Prosper, Frisco, and Coppell ISDs, where he coaches students in both individual and ensemble settings.

Throughout his teaching career, Tyler has successfully guided students to achieve top placements in regional auditions and has developed customized instructional plans tailored to individual learning needs. His expertise includes student performance coaching, parent and stakeholder communication, virtual instruction, and data-informed lesson planning.

In addition to his educational background, Tyler brings extensive professional performance experience as a former Principal Horn with the Shenyang Symphony Orchestra, where he demonstrated leadership, precision, and excellence in high-pressure concert environments.

Tyler holds a Master of Music Performance in French Horn from the University of North Texas and is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. His passion for education, leadership, and performance continues to drive student success and artistic excellence

Mr. Wang currently serves as a French Horn faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
