Born in Miami, Florida, Ms. Gloria Chae is an avid pianist, performer, and dedicated pedagogue. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from Florida State University, followed by a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Houston.
Ms. Gloria’s passion for teaching began in high school, when she taught children in her neighborhood. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies, she gained extensive experience teaching in community music academies, where she worked with students of all ages and levels, including those with special needs.
At the University of Houston, she held a teaching assistantship and taught private lessons, group classes for children, and group piano for college students. As a pedagogue, Ms. Gloria is committed to providing a positive and encouraging learning environment. She emphasizes strong foundational skills while tailoring instruction to each student’s individual needs. Her goal is to guide students through a joyful and well-rounded musical journey. Ms. Gloria is also an active member of the Music Teachers National Association.
Ms. Gloria currently serves as a Piano faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
