Sarah Harvey
Voice

Ms. Sarah Harvey, a Texas native, is a multifaceted vocalist, performer, and music educator. Given that she holds degrees specializing in both education (Bachelor’s of Music Education 2020, Texas A&M-Commerce) and performance (Master’s of Music Performance 2025, University of North Texas), Ms. Harvey’s pedagogical style offers both technical expertise rooted in the classical bel canto training as well as an artistic insight to her students. This combination ensures a dynamic and enriching learning experience, blending strong educational foundations with real-world performance skills to all ages. She is passionate about helping her students with confidence building and offers guidance with comprehensive music literacy, Texas UIL & Solo and Ensemble preparation, and the college audition process with great success.

A few of Ms. Harvey’s role include The Witch in Hänsel und Gretel (UNT Opera), Mercedes in Carmen (UNT Opera), Eunice in Streetcar Named Desire (UNT Opera), Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte (UNT Opera Scenes), and Magda in A Path to Heaven (Texas A&M Opera). She is also a seasoned ensemble vocalist as she finds success in choral settings, having performed with UNT A Cappella Choir, UNT’s Vox Aquilea Baroque Chamber Ensemble, and Orpheus Chamber Singers in addition to her experience in concert work, having recently performed as the Mezzo Soloist in Duruflé’s Requiem with the St. Laurence Anglican Church. Ms. Harvey has won several vocal competitions including the 2019 National Association of Teachers of Singing in the Senior Division and performed in many masterclasses.

Sarah Harvey is currently in pursuit of her Graduate Artist Certification and is expecting completion this summer (Summer 2025). She is under the tutelage of Dr. Stephen Morscheck and has also studied with Dr. Stephen F. Austin, Dr. Willem Van Schalkwyk, Dr. Mark Tempesta, and Kathleen Kelly to name a few.

Ms. Harvey currently serves as a voice faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
