Ms. Hyeyeon Kim is a teacher, soloist, and chamber musician in the United States and South Korea. She serves as a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas and a flute instructor in multiple districts in Dallas-Fort Worth area. Ms. Kim has performed extensively in chamber and large ensemble settings as a member of Dallas Asian Wind, Érume Ensemble, IF Ensemble, UNT Wind Symphony, and UNT Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she was a winner of the 2020 University of North Texas Concerto Competition.
Ms. Kim received her Bachelor of Music in South Korea, and she continued her studies and earned a Performance Diploma of music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She also received a Master of Music degree in the flute performance at the University of North Texas College of Music in 2022, and she is now pursuing her Doctoral of Music degree in flute performance at UNT.
Ms. Kim currently serves as a flute faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
